Japan now a state of the USA

Earlier today, Japan was accepted as a state into the USA. Currency plans to change somewhere around 2006, and airfare will decrease dramatically over the next few molnths.

Neither Japan or America would be what they are today without the other. The two histories are intertwined. Japan forced America onto the world scene and led to it becoming such a power and America shaped Japan after the war and led to it being so strong economically.

Then Japan should definitely not be part of the US, as domestic flights are always more expensive than international ones at equal distance. Frankly, you can't complain about the airfares between the US and Japan. There are return flights between Tokyo and LA or New York under 300US$. In comparison, a domestic flight inside Japan typically cost 500US$.
