japan i'm coming!!!

i'll be leaving malaysia to japan on this 2nd oct to be a teacher-training student under the monbukusho scholarship. ehime university, any comment advice or suggestion??? i didnt do much preparation, havnt start to pack, actually i have no idea what preparation i should have. is there snow in ehime? suppose to be autum now, is it very cold? i suppose soon it wil be winter holiday, how long would it be?? any suggestion of where should i go during this holiday? nice place near ehime as i would travel on budget.

In the side of Ehime University, there is Dogo Onsen.
Dogo Onsen is the hot spring which is famous in Japan from the ancient times.
Ehime is a warm climate, but it snows in winter.
Skiing is possible, too.
A method to go from Matsuyama-shi to Hiroshima,
I go along a bridge of from island to island by car
Or I use a ferry.
If you use a ferry,
You can go to Kure-shi (Hiroshima) and Yanai-shi (Yamaguchi)
There is a ferry for Kyushu , too.
Ogura (Fukuoka) and Beppu (Ooita).

It may be pleasant that you go on a trip in islands of the Inland Sea.
Because Onomichi of Hiroshima is an interesting town, please try to go.
