hi all.
There are many threads talking about "China & anti-Japan" recently, but I find maybe some question are ignored.
1. in democratic country, there are also parades happend.some of them against president or government, some of them against foreign president or government.example,Italian object USA's policy of IRAQ,but nobody said:"it is schemed by Italian gov.",and now,the similar things happend in China,it is schemed(or encouraged ) by China's government affirmatively! why?
2. in democratic country, people with impulse use tomatos & eggs as their conventional arms,Even stone vs water faucet. None democratic media animadvert it. BUT if Chinese people just break several piece of glasses, their action must be savage act(in some democratic media)! why?
3. Japanese said that only About 1% Japanese school use New history textbook writen by right wing. But nobody said that only <0.1% people in china join the protest! 1% in Japan is a bagatelle ,is free speech,is democratization,is a representation of enlightened society. BUT 0.1% in China is a great invent and be boomed in many media,is a event be made use of Communist Party! why?
4. I am a Chinese , I know what is happened in China,But some of people not in China and never got to China ,just heard something from "democratic media" or from some Japanese , they join the team animadvert on China and Chinese people at once! Why?

Who can tell me?
I think it is original sin of single-party autarchy,Chinese people fill angry, but they can't do anything. To their chagrin, whether or no ,they are all wrong, because Japan is a Democratic country and their country is not!!!

1. I think what the outside world believed and Japanese government got so "dissappointed" is the fact that Chinese government tolerate her citizen to do this. But they willl never be forgiven if the public protest for an domestic issue(eg. Laid-off workers ask for better welfare).

2.Those studnets smashed window, burnt Japanese flag......Its a diplomatic issue. Even more, Japanese media revealed that 2 Japanese students were beaten in ShangHai. So the matter of the whole thing is different from merely a domestic issue.(if you are still interested in this, ask a Korean or a Turkish about what they did to Chinese Embassy)

3. I don't know the exact figure(No solid evidence ). But as what I have heard from my relatives in China, its the Anti-Japanese sentiment among the majority scared the Japanese official, not only the protests.

4. I am a Chinese too .It may be a good point to ask your Japanese
friends visit China later, definitely not at this moment.

For your last part, I would like to saya democracy may not provide what it promises. For instance, India is a democratic country. But according to western acdamics, its democratic system is abused by politicians which produced a horrible outcome.

China has not started its political reform. I think its unavoidable and we are gathering momentum for that. Probably while our generation take power, we are a democracy.(Frankly, I m quite pessimistic about that. )

I think you have not persuaded me.
1.In fact China official media keep on tell us "keep cool ,keep cool", so that we hate our spineless government. My friend try to launch a protest in Nanjing by internet. But in 14 Apr. he was invited to police office, and officials reason him and his accompanier to give up their plan. I wouldn't have asked qustion 1 if it weren't so.
2.About 2 Japanese students were beaten in ShangHai ,this is just a ordinary public security ,not a political event.Korean or Turkish do what to Chinese Embassy?I never heard.
3. About "Anti-Japanese sentiment", I must explain it in detail. Be used as a Chinese ,as a majority of Chinese people,I think that the wartime enmity maybe fade from our memory over the years(like France and Germany). We ever try to forgive ,BUT some of Japanese officials and politicians often do and say something such as "pay homage to war criminal" ,"Nanjing bloodbath is just a lie" "history textbook"......make me think of that history with misery ,again and again. so I think "Anti-Japanese sentiment" is lured by Japanese officials and politicians(Right Wing?). If current Japanese government is honesty, there is not any "Anti-Japanese sentiment" . since 1992 , I am starting study Japanese ,and i like jspanese TV series ,until Japanese premier "pay homage to war criminal" ,I believe almost Japanese people is friendly yet.in China I am called "HARIZHU" ( means a person that he is infatuated with Japanese culture),BUT now ,I have turned into a Anti-Japanese person with steadiness ,what made I changed so great?it is Chinese government? or Japanese doing and saying?
4.About my last part ,you have not given me an answer.actually, this is a puzzle for me. Before China have become a democratic country (I hope, but now ,disliked the situation but had to live with it),as Chinese people,if we fill Japan's doing & saying hurt us,what can we do?Japan is democratic,so Japan can do anyting (include hurt feelings of people in other country again and again) at their pleasure?
I am a Chinese live in Nanjing ,memorial of Nanjing bloodbath and histry education can't make me become Anti-Japan,instead,Japanese officials and politicians(Right Wing?) get a Anti-japan person successfully. In the past ,I like Japan .And now I bellowing with rage:"Japan ,I am hating you".
