For our culture reports in Japanese class, I'm giving a presentation on Japanese music.
To say "My favorite music"... is it:

1. 私のお気に入りの音楽。
2. 私の好きな音楽。

Or am I completely and totally off, here?

Both of them are correct.
But the latter sounds normal and I think you should use 私の好きな音楽 in a presentation.

Even though I am a native Japanese speaker,I can't explain the differences between "okini iri no" and "sukina".
Personally,"okiniiri" sounds less formal.

Okay, thank you very much! <3 :-)

私の好きな音楽。 means "the music that i like"
私の一番好きな音楽。 means "my favourite music"
