Introduction

Hey everyone, I collect WW2 Japanese militaria...I am looking for a translation on a couple of items...thankyou for your time.

The box says

九谷焼 Kutani-ware
大盃 Large sake cup

Then the other part says
(sticker) 壹號 Number 1
征露 旭川 Victory over Russia, Asahikawa
豫備病院記念 Provisional Hospital Souvenir

I can't make out the red handwriting on the cup itself. Some patriotic phrase probably, but I can't find anything with the characters I can recognize.

And I can't get the bit in the middle of the cup base. I was thinking it said 九谷 (Kutani) as is common on these things, but it seems a bit different. A shot showing all of the characters on the plate, and then a close-up of that bit in the middle might help.
