So I'll be in Fukuoka from the 25th November until 16th December. Anything I should see or do. Must sees, must visits, best tourist attractions, unmissible events that sort of thing?

Note depending on where you stay ASO is quite far from Fukuoka and Nagasaki is about 2 hours by train. I wanted to go to Aso due to the notoriety of the Touge there.......but the gf didn't want to drive that far. I guess it is quite far.
Frank,I haven't been there for 35 years, but there used to be North/south/east/and west parks there that were nice. I wonder what became of the old Hakata air base that was just outside of downtown Fukuoka. Probably a golf corse or houseing now.
