I'm writing a story. Any advice?

Hi there. I've been writing a story for several months now and I'm at approxomately 56 typed pages. What I want to know is what encourages you to keep writing and so forth? I started writing because I'm tired of underaged anime heroes who are like 13 year olds

The Main hero is actually a 18 year old guy who used to be a street fighter and is now a professional panty raider and steals girls panties for money and for glory. After a successful panty raid a catgirl from the sky falls and OHHHHHH!

I was thinking of pitching the story like this

BEER!
CATGIRLS!
PANTIES!
SCHOOLGIRL SKIRTS!
FIGHTING!
ACTION!
ROMANCE!

You're violating the Laws of Anime here!
Panty thiefs are generally dirty old men (like Happosai in Ramna 1/2). I guess Frank's age would also be ok, but younger doesn't work out. So you should change it like this:

hahahhaha, i saw a hentei like that was part of a series called lemon ppl. my advice to you as a fellow sory writer is emagine where you want your main character to end up. a moral of the story? a revalation? enlightenment? maybe he finds enlightenment by finally finding the kind of panties he is turned on by the most, and the girl they belong to? muhahahahhaha a pair of french-straped panties belonging to a beautiful martial artist, and the fight, later love that developes betwen them. maybe once he has hers, he is cured of his fetish

there already is a fight in the story because of a pair of panties he stole. Basically she was hitting him with all she got and then after he fell down he got back up laughed and said "I was only letting you hit me because each time you threw a kick I could see your panties" Then throw a grin at her and she got mad and stormed off.
