I've happened to drift ashore to this forum during net surfing, and I am very glad to come back here to find those familiar names, Thomas, Maciamo, moyashi, deborah, kireiname, samuraitora etc., and the upgraded forum!!

Heh, that's the first time I've seen that. Now I have something to relate to my Mandarin speaking roommate's stories of plays on numbers. Prior to this one, the only one I'd ever seen was 39, and I came up with that one myself (don't know whether it existed before I did it, but I hadn't come across it when I did it).

They also convert respective characters into kanji like ﾅｽlﾋ廬ﾅｽ竄ｬ窶ｹﾃｪ(窶堙ｦ窶堙ｫ窶堋ｵ窶堋ｭﾂ）, which is considered as cool to them although we normally use them just for fun because it is so 70-80's and old fashioned.
But again, it is also sweet reminiscent thing as well as some revival yankee goods such as "Namennayo" are selling now.
