Could someone help me with the translation "Shall I/would you prefer I speak in Japanese"?
My guess is it is something like にほのごはなしましょうか. I'm not sure if there should be a が in there either; my understanding of が currently is fairly limited.
Thanks.

にほご, not にほのご.

There is no problem without particles, but で, not が, should be used after にほんご if you use it. がindicates the subject, i.e., the one who speaks Japanese, and で is for means.

Edit

Never mind
