What about 考え? "Do you have any idea/notion about the plan?" ie, what do you think of it.
How to count ideas/thoughts, like "three of his ideas"?:?

Yes, 考え works perfectly fine. But 彼の三つの考え sounds a bit awkward to me. I prefer 彼の3つのアイデア.
(The general counter つ is used with less than 10(e.g. 彼の3つのアイデア), and 個 or 通り is for more than 10(e.g. 彼の100個/通りのアイデア).)

As I wrote in my previous post, 通り is the counter. But つ would be more common, I think.

アイデア is indeed a loanword but quite commonly used in daily life.

Is " あのう" related to " あの"? Perhaps the native speakers just want to say "this, eh, this, eh.....", equivalent to "Well...well...".

Yes, the interjection あの（う） is from the demonstrative あの. But these two words are used in quite different contexts. The interjection あの never has the meaning of "that".

My thoughts on the difference between アイデア and 考え is that アイデア most often is used in the context of an idea which is a suggestion about some action to take while 考え represents what/how a person thinks about a particular subject. I've only very rarely heard it used in the sense of a suggested action.

I am interested to hear what Toritoribe thinks about that.

Right, アイデア and 考え are sometimes not interchangeable. But I think 計画について何か考えがありますか for "Do you have any idea/notion about the plan?" and 彼の、来月タイに行くという考え for "his suggestion of going to Thailand next month" are both acceptable, although there are more suitable words (e.g. 意見 for the former, 発案/提案 for the latter).
