How much USD $ I would need to travel to Japan??

This is the situation:
I'm entering this year to school as a senior , usually if you graduate you recieve a gift ... I WANNA GO TO JAPAN!

but i need to know how it would be the cashing for:
tickets
sleeping
food
shopping ( like litle gift for my parents and friends)
tourism (places you need to pay to enter )
some extra (for the cute clothing I may see lol)

it doensthave to be an exact number , but an aproximate one ... :?

Essentially, expect to spend 8000 yen per day while you're here.
Check your local travel agency for airline tickets.
Look here for the JR rail pass (if you expect to need it).

I was going to say budget for $100/day, roughly. As always, depends on what you want to do and where you want to go. Having a rough itinerary would make it easier to estimate the cost.

It was about $3,000 USD for 24 days last time I went, including $500 21 day rail pass. I stayed mostly at hostels, sometimes shared a cheap hotel with my friend/travel companion
