how do you say 'forever' in japanese?

in my book it says "en (e with the line abouve it) ni"

usually that mean add anouther ee...but its in kanji next to the romanji...soo can someone tell me how to write it in kanji(just to make sure ur right) and romanji?

永遠に （えいえんに/eien ni) is how it's written.

Also, the word isn't romanji, it's romaji (or roomaji or r(o with line or circumflex)maji if you want to keep in that long vowel).
