How do you say this phrase?
"how do you say ____ in Japanese?"
lol
~日本語で CAR ですか?
~~車
Thats the best educated guess i could think of. I'm one of those Japanese learners that is taking a japanese class, but still can't really speak it. I write and read it better... but I'm desperately trying to learn to speak it.
:p
-thanks

~は日本語でなんと言いますか? is the most common expression for "How do you say ~ in Japanese?". 日本語で CAR ですか? means more likely "Is it 'CAR' in Japanese?", thus, it's interpreted that 'CAR' is a Japanese word.

ありがとう、クラスは明日と言います。

If thats wrong please correct me. lol.
I'm never sure if 明日 needs to be before クラス or after は。

:)

明日クラスで言います。
クラスで明日言います。
Both are OK. (You can also use 発表します.)

You need to pay attention more to the particles rather than the order of words.;-)

@Toritoribe I will keep that in mind from now on. I know I tend to us 窶堙ーツ 窶堙? 窶堙債 all the time.
But for real thanks, I really will be conscious of it more.

🙂

I have another question and do not want to post another thread for a simple sentence.

私はよく日本語をべきょうしている。

私はよく日本語をべきょうしています。
...
I've been studying Japanese a lot lately.

私は最近よく日本語をべんきょうしている。
私は最近よく日本語をべんきょうしています。

I've been studying Japanese a lot lately.

They have the quite same meaning. The difference is just "casual vs. polite". :)

Whoops the ん was a spelling error. But thank you.

And I'm always uncertain when what form means what... te, short, formal. Conjugating is a beast. ^_^ But I will have to keep at it.

Thank you again Toritoribe!!!
