particle 窶堙懌?堙"made" would be a particle that I am not familiar with, is it like a casual ni?
3千人います。Sanzennin ga imasu. I'm not sure how to answer it other than that?
Yes.As for the last one, can I say in response to not buying anything:
何を買いたかった? (What did you want to buy?)
新しい自転車を買いたかった. (I wanted to buy a new bike.)
テレビを見ている人が二人います。I am going to go over これは日本で売っていない本です but at this point, along with the Rosetta Stone images and the most recent image, I don't understand them...like, I can understand the sentence but the structure isn't making sense yet.
すみません、ちょっと手伝ってください?
--はい、大丈夫?
はい、大丈夫、でもJREFの大学はどこですか?
--ああ。坂道にまっすぐ行って、二つ目の角を右に曲げて、道を渡て、大学は図書館と公園の間です。
ありがとう。
Ah, I thought 元気だ was casual for 元気です, so I put 元気だ. In formal occasions, not between friends, one would say 元気ですか, ね? Or is both formal and casual 元気ですか?

Yes.[/COLOR]was my "Nimannin gurai sunde imasu. " response okay?
Can I put that before the verb instead of after night? I thought it would have to be osoki instead of osoku.夜遅く家に帰らないと思います
I'm going to assume that kotaeru needs a ni as a verb?私の質問に答
Wow, thank you!I left some rep, thanks so much!
As for your first response, "made" would be a particle that I am not familiar with, is it like a casual ni? I can see the different phrasings meaning so many different things!
As for the second one, d'oh! I didn't even notice I missed the -te forms, you are good! And I was correct for the people watching television! Damn! I was just thinking of Toritoribe's post and then I combined it with this, that's really weird! I found two more examples in my book I'm going to try to do:
1) Anata no daigaku ni gakusei ga nannin imasu ka?
So for this part, I understand everything, it just seems weird. How many people are at your college?
Sanzennin ga imasu. I'm not sure how to answer it other than that?
2) Anata no machi ni hito ga nannin sunde imasu ka?
This is more weird for me. How many people are living in your town? Like the first one, I understand what it means but the structure is not fitting in for me.
Nimannin gurai sunde imasu.
I'm having a mental block. Not sure why!
As for the last one, can I say in response to not buying anything:
何を買いたかった? (What did you want to buy?)
新しい自転車を買いたかった. (I wanted to buy a new bike.)
I am going to go over これは日本で売っていない本です but at this point, along with the Rosetta Stone images and the most recent image, I don't understand them...like, I can understand the sentence but the structure isn't making sense yet.
Yeah, most of them I corrected were tiny ones, just typos or lacks 窶倪?披?堙ィ窶ーツシ窶督シ. You did it quite well.Wow that's a lot of red! I was thinking 8 was weird so I didn't do it, I just didn't feel like doing 7, haha. Most of them were correct, just spelling errors.
夜うちに遅く帰る (not 遅い but 遅く, it should be an adverb form when modifing the verb 帰る) can work as well. But "夜遅く" and "うちに帰る" is often used as a kind of set phrase, so the order I originaly wrote sounds more natural. Can I put that before the verb instead of after night? I thought it would have to be osoki instead of osoku.
As for this context, yes.I'm going to assume that kotaeru needs a ni as a verb?
This seems EXACTLY from your experience, 栄 in 名古屋iro iro na resutoran ga Sakae ni arimasu
There are various restaurants in Sakae.
"made" is not the same as ni, it roughly translates to "until" but it depends on the context.
What is wrong with these structure specifically? Is it the usage of the particle ni? You answered the questions correctly though. In Japanese for objects, take the particle "ga" when a static verb is used. The place takes the particle "ni".
Oosutoraria ni wa koala ga imasu.
In Australia there are Koalas
iro iro na resutoran ga Sakae ni arimasu
There are various restaurants in Sakae.
Oosutoraria de nihongo wo benkyou shimashita.
In Australia I studied Japanese.
Shokudo de hirugohan wo tabemasu
I will eat lunch at the cafeteria.
Ah yes, I also got this. Mitakunakatta (did not want to see), ikitakunakatta (did not want to go), etc. Let me see if I can make a sentence: Sono eiga wa mitakunakatta to omoimasu; demo, eiga wa totemo yokatta!Verb Kaitai -> Kaitakunai (not want to buy) -> Kaitakunakatta
夜うちに遅く帰る (not 遅い but 遅く, it should be an adverb form when modifing the verb 帰る) can work as well. But "夜遅く" and "うちに帰る" is often used as a kind of set phrase, so the order I originaly wrote sounds more natural.
山下先生は去年結婚した(past) → 結婚している(now)I would like to ask you about question 8. I skipped it because I remember reading that marriage, and come and go irregular in that the -te imasu forms do not mean in process or currently; they indicate what is in the past tense.
The main reason I didn't correct them is that what you wanted to make would be "casual conversations." Even if they are perfectly grammatically correct, they would sound somewhat awkward. If you could do me another small favour and check over these conversations I would appreciate it!
So what would kekkonshite imashita (is it ita for casual past tense?) mean?
明日は、ちょっと暑くて雨が降ると思います。
はい、いつも働くと思います。
先生は運動をすると思います。
I'm pretty sure I got these right...would you mind giving me English examples which I translate using that person ga nannin imasu basis? I'm reading Chapter 9 right now
I'm not sure, I see it and I go, well this is what it means...but it's not like other sentences where the pieces fall in place like a tetris game and then all go away when I understand it, there's still some pieces left. Perhaps its because it's featured more in Chapter 9, not sure. If you could give me a few more examples, I'd be appreciative!
All these I understood, the underlined one was a bit weird for me, I just switched the word order and it worked out perfectly. Sakae ni hito ga nannin sunde imasu ka? Is this okay for me asking how many people there are in Sakae?
Ah yes, I also got this. Mitakunakatta (did not want to see), ikitakunakatta (did not want to go), etc. Let me see if I can make a sentence: Sono eiga wa mitakunakatta to omoimasu; demo, eiga wa totemo yokatta!
This seems EXACTLY from your experience, 栄 in 名古屋;-)
I was married? That's the only thing I can think of :\
Kekkon suru = marry / get married
Kekkon shite iru = is/are married
I have not gotten to using some of those terms, I have seen them many times here though, I was hoping that my sentences were grammatically and structurally correct. Also really quickly, what is the reading for 名古屋? I think it is nafuruya maybe meikoya, not sure...その映画を見たくなかったけどなんとなく好きになった。とてもいい映画だと思った。
I see, Kirakira. In this sentence however:

I see, I see. undrentide, could tabete ita (tabete imashita's casual right?) also mean I was eating but not anymore?
For instance, ちょっと手伝ってください is perfectly GRAMMATICALLY correct, but you can't use this sentence when asking someone for directions. You can use it when carrying heavy loads, it could sound somewhat rude, though. But for now, were mine at least grammatically correct? If they were correct in that sense I'll be satisfied.
How do you know... ON/KUN and beyondcould tabete ita (tabete imashita's casual right?) also mean I was eating but not anymore?
It's the teacher's joke. The reading nagoya is the exact reason I made this topic. One minute, it's the kun reading the second is the on, the last is the kun again? Frustrating! I do get the meanings, howeverI do wonder why it's go in the middle, though. I understand the k->g transition with the " but I think you know what I meant.
From 3 until 11 I workedYou said made was until, right? So, can I say: sanji made juichiji ni hatarakita (maybe tsutomeru, not sure if -u or -ru verb?). (From 3 until 11 I worked)

On the main paragraph, I'm not sure about kedo or dakedo, did not get up to it yet. I do get what you mean with the ii eiga, I should have put that.
食べる belongs to Group2/継続動詞, whereas 行く/来る/結婚する belongs to Group3/瞬間動詞. So, e.g., 忘れていた(group3) often connote 思い出した("to remember now") as same as 結婚していた.
Tabete iru/tabete imasu: ... is eating. casual/polite
Tabeteinai imasen: ... is not eating, casual.
Tabeteita imashita: ... was eating, casual.
Tabeteinakatta: ... was not eating, casual.
undrentide-san meantI actually don't understand these, to be honest. I thought I did. I get how tabete inai is not eating right now, why do you need another imasen? I also see why tabete ita is i was eating, why do you need another imashita? Or maybe this was in response to that / imasu?
Basically "ate," simple past. But depending on context, it can mean "I've eaten."And then what is tabeta, I had eaten, not in the present?
