Ohayo minna-san!

I'm Riccardo, from italy. My English isn't very good but i try to learn it.
Now, I'm studying Japanese words and Japanese grammar... well, how many words can I memorize in a day? I translate opening of anime, read manga etc... in a month can I memorize 1000 vocabulary? how many words do you learn a day?have you got a strategy? If I use a mnemonic association?

Thanks

Sorry for my bad English

Man, your English is great.

1000 a month? This is not fast food lol. I read somewhere that a day person can memorize 7 words. Then again, memory is a tricky bastard and we need constant reviewing. Note, that Japanese si difficult on three levels, one is how to say a word, two is writing and three is reading. It's not roman letters so it may take a bit longer to remember 1000 words than a month. Start is usually fast, but as you go along you will notice a drop in rate of remembering words. Simply because the pool of the words you use will increase, and you wont be able to use 1000 words every day in a way to remember them.

If I were you i would write them down while learning. Kanji should be written down as much as possible, any person that speak Japlandese will tell you that.

Good luck on your study!

Try making flash cards too! I've found they help greatly with memorization! <3 がんばってな! (Ganbatte na!/Good luck!)
