Help!

[suzukiharunobu]

I am very touched by the Ukiyo-e prints of Suzuki Harunobu and have found this site
site
with over 45,000 images of Japanese art online.

Unfortunately i don't understand a lick of Japanese so haven't a clue how to search for his work (besides spending a month browsing through the whole gallery - the link above is how far i'd gotten into this page-by-page search before realizing how futile it was).

Can anyone help me out? If you could cut and paste the URL that would give me the results for said artist's name in your reply...i'd really be excited and happy!

is another gallery with a search engine in Japanese...and i cut and paste Suzuki Harunobu's name in the author field but got only one print returned which can't be right for an artist of his stature. Maybe the name I pasted was only one possible variation of how his name is spelled or something?

by searching for the artist's name in kanji:

鈴木春信

As for kanji variants, back in his time I believe people didn't care too much which kanji they used to represent their names, but these days historians tend to standardize on a de facto "correct" set of kanji to use consistently in publications, so this should be the string to search on.

I pasted that name into those sites and I can't seem to get more than 3 pieces by him out of the 1000's that are in their database, which puzzles me because Harunobu is a legend. I'm sure the work is stored there, and I'll just keep nosing through it until i hit jackpot.
