Hello,
I bought a Japanese camcorder a few years ago. I have the English manual for it so there is no problem except for 1 thing, the S-video feature. I think it might be different then what I have in my camcorder.
So I just need someone to please tell me what the top and bottom menus mean in English.
Thank you.

The top one says "Video" and the bottom one says "S-Video"(Seperate Video).
Hope it helps... :-)

Haha, I guess that should put a stop to my always thinking that "S" means "super!" 😊

Huh? S-Video is Super Video. At least in the west. I guess we could argue about HD versus Hi-Vision as well.

So is it safe to always think that "S" = "super" again?

Sorry, wikipedia said it's "Seperate". So I followed it. :(
S-Video - Wikipedia
The "S" as in S-VHS means "Super" but "S-Video" means "Seperate" and not "super" it says.

Web definitions of s-video seem to be split between "separate video," "super video," and "separated video." I'm gonna stick with "separated video" from now on.
