Hi just looking for help on what the writing says on 2 piece I got from local auction . One is a bowl and the other is a bronze mirror. Any help would be great.

The one on the bronze is 天工中岨信濃守. I can't decipher the first one.

The first one looks like it's indented. If you did a pencil or charcoal rubbing of it, it might be more legible than a photo of the object itself.

I tried to get a better picture charcoal rubbing didn't work so I thinks look better. Also what would this be in English 天工中岨信濃守 I could find the meaning of each Kanji but would this be a person name? the maker what would it be in English so I can look it up easier. ?

The second kanji is 寿. The first one is still illegible, but looks like 宝.

As for the one on the bronze, it seems neither a person's name nor a company's name. The last three characters 信濃守 can mean the Governor of Shinano Province, but it doesn't make much sense anyway.

What you have for the first kanji look right. What would the first 4 kanji mean or whats it say on the bronze?

The last kanji could be 寸 or 干. It doesn't make much sense anyway.
