Can anybody tell me if these sentences are 100% grammatically correct?
Also, do they make perfect sense?

伊豆半島の小さい町はフェリーなどに結ばれる。

静岡県の土地はあまり平じゃないために、同県の主要な 動脈は海岸しか沿わない

Also, whats the most natural verb to signify the opening of an airport?

伊豆半島の小さい町はフェリーなどで結ばれている。

結ばれている is used for the current state.
When being used with 結ばれる, で indicates the means whereas に is for the target that is connected to/with the subject.
e.g.
フェリーが（ロープで）桟橋に結ばれている。
ロープがフェリーに結ばれている。


静岡県の土地はあまり平坦ではないため（に）、同県の主要な道路は海岸沿いにしかない。

The casualness of じゃない doesn't fit the formal tone of the sentence.

Also, whats the most natural verb to signify the opening of an airport?
