Please see the picture of a flag i have. I can see the date Showa 8, 10th month 22nd day in the center (note sure what it says to the left), i can see Showa 7 4th month 30th day to the right on the white, then i see dates in the upper left but they just seem to be month and day so not sure what year they refer to....... I would appreciate any help. thanks mark

Its a flag commemorating a soldier's 2nd deployment to Jehol, Manchuria (called Nekka 熱河 in Japanese). The dates at the top and bottom are a kind of timeline of advances and victories during the campaign of the Defense of the Great Wall.
