I got that over the internet. But when I tried searching for another word for that, it gave me different KANJI characters. That is why I am asking for your help about what that Kanji means

I think we should wait for one of our JREF pros.
In the past we have been shown that some kanji have several meanings. Also some kanji are "artistically" drawn and don't look like kanji in a textbook. We have seen several tatoos that ment nothing, the kanji was fictional. Anyway, lets wait for an expert to give their thoughts.

It is pronounced ごう and has meanings ranging from strong/splendorous to Australia.
The drawing may be slightly artistic but the bottom part is definately house （家）
and the top looks like the top of tall （高）. The character may have evolved from a tall, strong pig or some such which was how the country came to be so named. Just guessing here, so that part is probably better left unspeculated...

Derfel, nope, my friend has that symbol tattooed on his back, I forgot to ask him about it's meaning and he's gone now. It got me interested on what it's meaning.
Derfel, a friend of mine emailed that to me. He says it's STRENGTH, but when I search the internet about the symbol for KANJI = STRENGTH, it gave me a different symbol. that's why I wanna know what that means....

Just like English has many synonyms for strength with delicate shades of difference in meaning, Japanese has many "strength" kanji characters, too.
What Elizabeth wrote is correct, and the basic meaning for the kanji means strength, but of the animalistic type (brute strength and courage). From this core meaning, the kanji is used in a wide variety of definitions. Also, it is read "gou," and it is used to mean Australia as she pointed out.
If you look up translation sites and dictionaries on the Web (as well as many paper-based dictionaries for beginners), these delicate shades don't show. The most "elementary" character for strength is 窶氾 read chikara, and that is probably what you found.

Basically if it used alone, not in combination with any other kanji, the meaning is Australia ...
