Help me with a tattoo please

hello guys, i want to make a tattoo about my favorite manga, shingeki no kyojin, but i specifically want it to be in the original language, and i'm a little insecure about it, so i came here to make sure i won't do anything stupid. i searched in the internet pages of the manga in its original language and found the one i was looking for. i'm putting a file of the specific part i want to tattoo. i know that, in the translated version of the manga, in this part, it's written "freedom". i know it's kinda of a silly question, but i just want to make sure of what's written in the image of the file, if it indeed says "freedom", because you know, it's a tattoo, it's permanent, i have to know what i'm about to write in my body. sorry if i wrote something wrong, english is not my native language, i just learned, like, the basic of it

If you just want the word freedom, use the first two kanji only: 自由.
It does indeed mean freedom.

I think this is correct but better to just use 自由 instead of 自由だ because the だ is just a verb. It's the difference between saying "it's freedom" and "freedom."
Please wait for other responses too. I'm not the most expert person here but out of all the many tattoo requests we see, I think this one is quite straightforward and sensible. And, of course, if you do this I suggest using a nice brush-like font. Not the type font shown in your example image.
