Help me find my father

Hello my name is Gladys and I am from the philippines. It still breaks my heart that I don't even know what my last name is. All I have left are pictures of my father and I would really like to have an opportunity to at least get to know more details of him. My relatives have already forgotten his complete name but they remember calling him Leslie.

He certainly does look like he could be Japanese, but Leslie must either be a nickname or he might be of Japanese descent but not from Japan, which means he could be practically from anywhere. Without being able to narrow it down any more than that, it would be difficult to be of any help. Do you have any more details you can share, confirmation of where he was from, or what he was doing in the Philippines?
