Erepublik is a browser-based game where different nations from the real world compete against each other through politics, economy and warfare. It's still in it's beta phase but it's quite interesting and addictive. You can start your own companies or work for someone else. Join different political parties, become mayor, congressman and run for president. Become a soldier, fight in wars, get promoted to officer, e.t.c.
I currently live in Japan under the name Yamato Suzuki and I lead the second largest party in Japan, The Shinobi Party.

Well, you have to get invited by another member to sign up, since it's beta.
If you sign up for an account on the site it'll take ages, but if you get it from another member you get an invite instantly.
I can send you a beta invitation, but I only have three left, so you'll have to send some aswell if someone asks for them.
