hello there everyone. uhmmm...introduction. well i'm a manga/anime lover! i love watching Japanese animations! I am in love with JRockers esp. Kaoru. Japanese music are awsome! I planned to learn Japanese by summer of 2007 so that i can study abroad in japan in the fall.
i want to travel travel and travel! meet everyone in the world. i'm a freshmen of college and majoring in photography, monoring in world history and cultural studies.
i am from the U.S. (though i should have said this first), but i am not american. i am hmong (asain culture). I lived in Michigan all my life but was born in Thailand....😌

uhmm...i'm kinda bad at introducing myself so i just hope to get to know some of you better and hope you guys know me better! :p

Hello darling and welcome to the forum. Oh so you're Hmong, that's amazing. I've been wanting to learn them for awhile now, but it's hard to find information on the Hmong ethnicity.

Well have fun here and enjoy your stay.:-)

Hello and welcome to the forum. Have fun:-) 🙂
Manga and anime fan myself, but not much into the J-rock. Plenty on the forum who are though.

Why hello there little boy/girl. What's wrong? Are you lost?

Heh, pardon me, I just had to say that. Welcome to the forum!

I've only encountered the Hmong in this book I read, quite good, actually. It was either Helen(a) Zia's Asian American Dreams or Frank Wu's Yellow, but they were both really good. I don't remember why the Hmong were mentioned (probably something about discrimination), but for some reason the name stuck. If you ever get a chance, be sure to look these books up!

Enjoy your stay!

thankies for the kind greetings!

heheh...ma cherie, yes, i agree the hmong language is a hard one to learn. i taught it to a few classmates and it wasn't that easy.

Welcome, lost... very diverse group here... from serious to frivolous... enjoy...
