Hello, I got a few questions about Shoguns?

I was wondering if the Shogun 's sons/daughters and their wives slept in the same room or did they sleep in separate rooms?

Based on the samurai mansions and castles I have visited, I would guess they had separate sleeping quarters.

Why are you interested in this? Also, which historical period are you referring to? The Kamakura, the Ashikaga or the Tokugawa shogunate?

They sleep in separate rooms. Because Shogun 's child was brought up by a nanny. Shogun and his wife never meddle in child rearing. But there're exceptions to every rule.
