Hello from India

Hi there,
My name is Abhinav. I am a undergrad student from India. I am the only person out of all siblings who does not know Japanese. But the time has come to learn it.
I have always loved the Japanese culture but my knowledge about it is pretty limited. Well that's one of the reasons I joined this forum. My dream is to get into one of the Japanese universities from my research (post-graduation). But there's still time left, three years to be precise. I am a computer enthusiast. I just freaking love computers but I am not an avid gamer. I am more of a programmer. I would rather make games than play them but I am a Zelda fan by the way.

Wow, why does everybody in your family know Japanese?

Well the thing is, my grandfather used to travel to Japan for business on behalf of Itochu Corp India and he used to come back and teach us some Japanese. So this craze for Japanese is since my parents generation. (and it helps in reading manga and understand non-dubbed anime)
