Hello Everybody!

My name is Giostigma and im a newbee to these forums. Im looking foward to learning some cool stuff about Japanese culture. Anyways.... I've been in love with Japan and everything about it for the past year and a half. I do not no any Japanese but I am determined to learn it and speak it fluently. I am hopefully going to Japan this summer for an exchange (fingers crossed) and might possibly be becoming hooked on anime.

Anyways sorry about my boring story. Im looking foward to hear some cool stoires on the forums and talk bout Japan 'n stuff.

hi, Giostigma I live in Canada too and just found this site. My friend's got chance to go to Japan for exchange student in September. I am happy she seems so exited I hope you can make that happen too!

Im a big Gackt fan too. I like allot of his songs. Black Stone is my favorite song by him right now. And Desperate Angel is an epic X-Japan song. Good choice.
 
i luv Pink Spider... i listen to it like 1000000000000000000000 times every day... IV was the first i'd heard, tho... like, i just went on myspace and looked up Yoshiki, cuz im a Gackt and Miyavi fan, and naturally i stumbled on the lil disaster that is SKIN (pretty to look at, but they dont have much chemistry together do they?) and well, i fell in luv with Yoshiki by the time he started *possibly* playing with his, er, drumstick, behind the drum set... but i figured him to be, like, closer to Meever in age than Sugizo... tho i admit i didnt really know who either of them was at the time... and i just fell in luv with X as soon as the piano began... and from then onwards there was Standing Sex, and Desperate Angel, Kurenai, Endless Rain, Forever Love... everything else.... *sigh* They just dont make them like X anymore...
As for Gackt, I'd heard Sayonara first... right now I am really big on Jesus. Pretty Gackt. I actually didnt like the stuff he did with mm, but i liked some of the other mm stuff... although they used a drum machine in Beast of Blood, didn't they?? i dunno, i dont really know too much about them...
 
Yah. Yoshiki is my favorite out of the X group. I always liked Hide but Yokshiki is cool because I love drums too. The first ever X song I heard was Kurenai. Then it was Rusty Nail I think, Silent Jealously. Then I got one of their albums. Good Stuff. And Gackt is good but X is still better.

In which canadian province are you living in? I'm also Canadian and I'm living in the province of Quebec.
