Hello from a very wet England

Hi,

My name is Simon and I am 31 although I am still 21 at heart. I live with my fiancée and two lovely children who are 8 and 5.

I work in Computers and have recently found out that I am be out of a job in the next two years due to the company I work far being bought. Its all very complicated and boring so I wont go into too much detail. Because of this I have recently started to learn Japanese and hope to visit Kyoto in the next year with the plan to maybe move to Japan when I lose my job here.

I have always loved Japanese movies, TV and culture, and even some of the music, although JPop is not really my thing

By joining this forum I am hoping to make some new friends, as well as get some advice on working in Japan and help in learning the language.
