my name is Costas and i am from Athens, Greece. I have had a keen interest in Japan as a whole and i was supposed to do a degree in the UK International Relations and Japanese Studies... I was relly looking forward to this BA programme but unfortunately it was never realised as Kent University decided to drop it as to a lack of students.. Anyway i completed my studies elsewhere in the UK where i had the chance to meet many Japanese who at the beginning were not that sociable as the preffered to migle with their own but later were vere very friendly... (i have to say at first i had quite a hard time distinguishing them from other Asians which made me look really silly and thus not very wellcome).
i came across this forum completely by chance and i'd like to find out and explore Japanese lifestyle culture and learn a few things as i will be visiting Japan in October (09-19) and perhaps arrange to meet a few people via this forum over there or others visiting then
