TOKYO64 is my name and Japan is my game. I live in Seattle, a beautiful city in the Great Pacific Northwest. I love it here as this is my home. I lived in Japan for over 10 years, most of it teaching some of it in the Air Force. I have lived in Okinawa , Mie, and Osaka. I have been to Aomori, Nikko, Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Kamakura, Nagoya, Niigata, Gifu, Nara, Otsu (Lake Biwa)Kyoto , Kobe, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Sasebo and Wakayama! So I have been just about all over Japan!
I can speak Japanese of course and am always looking for ways to get better. I try to get to Japan at least once a year. I joined this community because I am almost done with my book on my long experience in Japan. I need all kinds of input on things like relationships between Japanese females and Black men, Japanese men and Black women all the way to how Japanese live and what changes are taking place among the young generation in Japan.
By the way everyone will ask me why I chose the name "Tokyo64". Well it's because it was when the Tokyo olympics were and the shinkansen and the olympics told the world that Japan was coming back into the international community as a friendly and exciting nation!
