Hi, randomly found this forum and after seeing the actual use of intelligent conversation regarding things that I would really like to know about and learn about decided to register...

This place looks really well set-up and, though I'm not very knowledgeable with regards to japan and such related topics what I do know has really turned me onto wanting to know a lot more, I hope i dont ask too many questions and hope I can learn a lot from this place ^_^

hmmmmm...
dno if this is the right place to reply but im sure sumone'l move it if not ^_^ hehe

well from the media publicised and politically correct western viewpoint then men and women live as equals and a woman is just as adequate to be the head of an empire as a man would be...

from a more eastern and more specifically japanese perception I know that there is still a lot of "sexism" but know very little of to how far this extends throughout the society but from other monarchies (e.g. teh uk) you'll oftenfind that the royal family reflects the social and moral ideals and highest standards for a family, at least publicly... If these do not include a "lady being the head of the empire" then I'm sure it'll be a topic of great debate lol

sorry if i didn't really answer the question but i waffle ^_^ anyways, please correct me and stuffs and post ur opinions...

The moon is out there right now sheding a soft glow all over the mostly melted away, yet solidly frozen patches of remaining snow. It's going ever closer to an early Monday morning here...WELCOME to the forum...I am sure you will learn a lot, but we can also learn from you.

Please enjoy, and post when you can. See you 'round
