Hello! I'm alantin.
I'm Finnish and I study Japanese.
I look forward to interesting conversations!
Nice to meet yo'll! ^^

Hello from Japanese Belgium!

Welcome please feel free to post often here and you are doing good by learning japanese, please stay as you long you want, and feel the fresh air of daily posts and threads 🙂

alantin さん、JREFによこそう! Welcome to JREF !! Here you can use your Japanese, and practice and learn it as you go too! That would be in the Japan Forum area of the Forum. Of course, as you have done, if you use any Japanese in the other fora, the English translation is very much encouraged.

What are your other interests in Japan or with things Japanese? I look forward to talking with you later !! See you 'round !! MM

alantin...welcome to Jref ^^
i'm mel..

what makes u interest in Japan?? ^^ u can talk to me too ^^ i'd be glad to chat with u next time.. ^^

enjoy!!and keep posting,okay ^^

Thanks for posting and sorry for not writing sooner. I made a little trip to meet some relatives. ^^ And I still have some trouble finding stuff on this forum.. =/

Probably the language is the first thing I got interested in. It's so different from any european language and the writing system is intriguing. Later I got interested in it's unique culture and just the way of thinking. It seems that I'm one of the rare people that started watching anime to learn the language instead of the other way around. ^^
In the future I would like to be able to study and work in Japan. Perhaps in some foreign company that has branches or contacts in Japan. I'm very interested in international affairs. ^^
I still have a long way to go though.. =/

That sounds great ! I started learning Japanese in highschool, but it went real slow...no manga or aname around at that time.

It sounds like you have what you want to do in mind, and I encourage you there. It will be a long and hard road, but give it your best shot !! I wish you the best.

As far as finding things here on the forum, take you time and check it all out slowly. After a while you'll get very used to strolling around the place; it took me a good while too...and I still have problems every now and then. Talk to you later !! MM

Thank you for the encouragement. ^^

MM. What do you do in Japan? You live in 滋賀県 right? I spent three months there with my wife this spring. We lived in Otsu and traveled quite a bit around Kansai area. ^^

Welcome to JREF alantin. Many people here are learning Japanese also. We are glad you joined us here. Good luck with your studies :-)
