From the hills of the Japan Alps, the perfect place for riceballs to go rolling down...and all the way to my door step...I wish to shout out WELCOME TO JREF !!!

Many folks join up, and I just can't seem to welcome them all these days...for some reason, but I at least try. I guess I was kind of hungry this morning, and subliminal suggestion (82riceballs) captured my brain...hee, hee, hee...

I know you can learn a lot of both English and Japanese here, little by little, of course. BUT you have to work hard at it !! Don't feel bad when your learning curve dips--there will be times, when you may feel your progress has declined. I'm cheering for you !! AND I hope to hear more from you later !! MM

Not to nitpick, but it would be the person introducing themselves that would say yoroshiku onegai shimasu, and generally under very formal situations, or say if they were an entertainer on a talk-show introducing themselves to their host. You can also use yoroshiku, to imply that you'd like the listener to give regards to a person whom you both know...
