Dear native English speakers,
What's the difference between (a) and (b)? I suppose they are different in meaning from (c).
(a) My mother had me do the dishes.
(b) My mother got me to do the dishes?

(c) My mother made me do the dishes.

No, all three of those are the same. B can also have one other meaning: you can use it to mean that she used subterfuge to make it happen. But all three can just as easily mean that she directly asked/ordered you to do it.

(c) is similar to " My mother forced me to do the dishes", but the others are not. Am I wrong?

No, all of them convey the same meaning. They all mean that you were obliged in one way or another to do the dishes. If you wanted to say that you were not compelled to do so, you would use something less direct, like, "My mother asked me to do the dishes."

Yes it can be used that way.
