Gundam Seed or Gundam Wing?

Hmm, how many people have seen Endless Waltz or read the manga of it?

endless waltz is fantastic.. i love how that one guy on the evil forces is battling with what to do and who to fight for.. and he tries out what feels right by attacking the good guys XD

his internal battle was definatelly in itself worth watching EW for...

He was stupid and didn't know what he was fighting for. He was uselsely getting into Heero's way in Endless Waltz and give some loser speaches. Treize should have killed him when he beat him at that sword duel.

Oh! I forgot about Zechs Marquise (forgive me if i spelled his last name wrong)! Zechs was another of my favorites, and he had awesome Mobile Suits.

I have to say Gundam Wing even though Heero and Yamato are both hot . Anyway story wise, Gundam Wing rocks where Gundam Seed sometimes left me confused and not in a good way. Besides even if I was on the fence about it, Endless Watlz kicks butt and knocks the socks off Gundam Seed.

Yeah, Zechs had a decent mobile suit in the two versions of Tallgeese, but it came in second to Wing Zero and Deathscythe!

Deathscythe Hell was even cooler! Wing was the first Gundam show to introduce the concept of suped-up versions of the same mobile suites (G-Gundam copied this, and i don't think there were any transforming gundams prior to Wing). What was the name of the suped up Wing Gundam? I forgot, but it looked frikkin awesome with the angel wings.

I voted for Seed because the story captivated me so much. I absolutely love both Wing and Seed though, but Seed just puts it over the top for me. And for the record Gundam Seed has the best soundtrack ever!

What are you talking about Ronin? G-Gundam came out 3 years before Wing did. there were plenty of transforming gundams and mobile suits and armors before wing.

Umm the first "transforming gundam" is in Z. Which copied its transforming stuff from Macross, which got its inspiration from Gundam.

This is what Im talking about. People don't have a clue about how gundam really is. Only the UC stuff is really worth watching because the rest of it are just copies of the original UC series, new designs new characters and a bit different story. And people are willing to buy it. Actually Final Fantasy is just as bad.

Thats why I love Macross. At least it hasn't been completely sold out to corporate interests. They have been coming out with some great stuff lately (macross zero,macross plus) not rehashed stuff like seed G wing, ect. If you REALLY want to see an amazing series, go and try to find the Macross Plus the movie on DVD. IT will blow your mind away.

G-Gundam came out first? My gosh, America's importing anime is even more screwed than I thought.
Well, I read Endless Waltz again...fantastic! And I've finally solidified my opinon of Wufei: he is a troubled man but still friggin cool!
And Zechs: veeery cool.
Duo's Gundam: still my favorite.
But I forgot, who did Epyon belong to?

Well If I could chose outside of those selection then it be any of the universal centuary stuff. But in my opinion I think this:
Gundam Wing + Gundam F91 = Gundam Seed
I mean Strike Gundam is pretty much Gundam F-90 with Wing flare
There pretty much the same. A-type is Aile Strike and D-type is Launcher Strike
Only real difference is the design and Seed had a B-type quipment and F-90
has a V-type (long range variable type)

I like Wing better personally. Perhaps Im partial to it since it was the first Gundam I've seen. I know some don't like it for valid reasons. But there's a lot of people who just hate on it because it has pretty boys fighting in gundams rather than people who actually look like soldiers. That really doesnt bother me. And Wufei was my favorite character anyway, and seemed like one of the few not meant to appeal to the girls, since he kept talking about women are weak, which pissed off alot fo the female fans I know. But did he have to kill treize? Anyway I really like the atmosphere, animation style, music (besides the Seed ending by See-Saw which rocked), characters, and Gundam Designs for wing better, and really enjoyed the battles and series as a whole. Ive seen Endless Waltz though just the ova version, not the movie one or the manga, though I did read a manga that was supposed to take place between the series and EW some time ago, it was only like 2 chapters though. Not to be confused with the Blind Target Radio drama that used the song "Take off to the sky" sung by heero's voice actor as it's op. Another cool song btw.
