I just registered here after lurking for a few weeks.

I live in Anchorage, Alaska, where I work as an attorney and do some writing on the side. My wife is a Japanese from Osaka. We've been married 32 years and have two children, now post-college adults.

In the mid-'70s I worked at an eikaiwa in Osaka. Wife and I were married in a tiny Catholic church just inside Kyoto Prefecture next to the Keihan-sen. I forget the name of the station.

My Japanese has gotten very rusty.
