Figured I'd do the formality thing. After 7 years in Tokyo, the small firm I am with decided to move to bright and sunny Hawaii. Definitely wasn't ready to leave, but I've got a pretty cushy job, so didn't have much of a choice.
Anyways, I stumbled across this page after a google search for an out-of-print book that I had since college, but actually gave to a friend to help her w/ her studies.
I'm a member of quite a few tech-related web communities (I do IT) and I'm often that annoying guy that asks tons of questions, but can't contribute anything besides well-wishes. So, hopefully I can flip the roll here.
Oh, quick background -- I'm originally from Texas. Graduated school, moved to Japan for what I thought would be 2 years. Job turned into career so I stayed. Now, I spend my mornings at the beach, and days in the office.
