Hi everyone,
This is a really great forum! I've come to read here every now and then for a few months already, but never registered and posted before. Since I've never been to Japan, I figured I wasn't able to contribute much to the threads. I'll probably mainly read, and post only a little, but I might as well introduce myself
I'm a 32 (well, almost 33) year old female from Belgium (Europe, in case you were wondering
). I've been interested in Japan since I was a kid. I have an uncle who has lived in Japan for almost forty years, and I always liked to hear him talk about Japan, and meet the Japanese guests he often brought when on holiday in Belgium.
I've been studying some Japanese by myself (grammar, vocabulary and some kanji and kana), but that's been some years ago, so I'm afraid I've forgotten a lot
I definitely want to take it up again later when I have more spare time, it's a fascinating language.
I found this site when someone posted a link to it on E-Sangha (Buddhist forum). Well, I've rambled enough. It's nice to be here
