Good Luck Flag translation or owner's name?

Hello,
My grandfather recently passed and was stationed in Japan at the end of WWII. My mother found this flag in his belongings. Any information provided would be appreciated. I tried Google translator but it's not much help.

Down the right side of the flag: "Congratulations on going off to war, AKARI Kimio"
To the left of that is "Good Luck in Battle".
On the left side is "From all of us at NIKON Corporation, Kawasaki Factory".
The rest are signatures of workmates of AKARI Kimio.
This is in an exceptional state of preservation.

If you were interested in returning it to Japan, there is a group called the Obon Society who works to repatriate this stuff. Or, the Japanese embassy may be able to help as well.

The name next to "Good Luck in Battle" is SHIRAHAMA Hiroshi, who was an executive director in Nikon until 1984.
We can assume that when he put his name on this flag (in the 40s) he would have been perhaps the head of the division in which Mr. AKARI worked, or perhaps head of the Kawasaki factory.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this information. I was told that my grandfather was part of "the cleanup effort" at the end of the war. It's a shame he's no longer around to ask about how he came to possess this flag. Thank you again.
