And by the way, here is a single personnal experience: one day, in the Chuuhousen (the line crossing Tokyo from east to west), before entering Tokyo, in an overcrowded train, everyone was silent, and suddenly a women yelled: "Yamete kudasai!" ("Stop it!"), without even moving her face toward the "agressor". I don't know who he was, but he surely stopped that day...
