Getting work visa

I haven't had luck yet with the CA eikaiwa recruiters, was just wondering how doable it is to find a company willing to sponsor me if I interview in Japan.

Having a lot of trouble finding this kind of info on the web, and yes, I meet all the prereqs for being an English teacher.

Most companies who recruit in Japan do so because they want the candidate to already have a visa. However I'm sure it's not impossible.

Out of interest, have you been given any feedback as to why you haven't been successful with overseas recruiters?

If you are Canadian you can try for a working holiday visa, get a job in Japan, and ask them to sponsor you to try and get a full visa.
