OK, if you are fresh grad with no experience maybe you have a shot...
There's 2 types of people who can get jobs in Japan.
Fresh grads with no experience... or experienced people who are very accomplished.
You should come for the Tokyo Summer Forum then. (yes, over the Boston Career Forum, because you are not from top uni, Boston will be much more competitive for the spots.)
From now on you need to work on your Japanese interview skills.
Here's a tip: ask for an interview to be done in English = auto fail. It just tells the HR that you are not even trying. Broken Japanese will be much better.
The first interview will be very very short, around 10-15 minutes.
Prepare the following 3 questions:
Your self introduction.
What you worked the hardest on during your university years. ( &
#2 3398;&
#2 9983;&
#2 6178;&
#2 0195;&
#3 8929;&
#2 4373;ったこと) This question is very important, prepare this well.
And then, why this company, why Japan etc.
#2 study math. Because before you get to the interview, they will ask you to take a written exam. Now since you are foreigner, you can explain to them about your Japanese they will either overlook the Japanese section or not ask you to take it at all. However, you must be prepared to score very well on the math sections.
Also most companies will also ask you to take a very very long and boring personality exam. Also, almost all of the companies use the same test I think. What's important in this test is to answer consistently. Practicing it with companies you don't like first might be helpful.
#3
The entry sheet. Don't just fill in random stuff there, that is like your resume. Spend time answering each question.
After your first interview, whether you advance or not will be based on a combination of
Entry Sheet + exam + first interview/group interview, etc.
