I love Gackt and, I love all the music he makes. I have heard about 40 songs and I love every one of them. My favorites are Papa lapped a pap lopped, U+K, Kimi No Tame Ni Dekiru Koto and Vanilla. My Favorite Malice Mizer songs are Illuminati, Ma Cherie and Beast Of Blood.

Gackt is a very handsome person, and most of his music is really good. I really love his song Lu:Na as well as the video. Who can say they dont like Gackt. I have yet to see his movie "Moon Child" I will have to by it off the net. I'm not a big fan of Hyde's and I cant really see why a lot of people think he's cute, when I think Gackt looks 100 times better.

Gackt is really sexy ^.^ And most of his pictures do seem like he doesn't have any other exspretions...but I have some where he's acting funny, smiling, and laughing. My favoret song of his is Lu:Na, have you seen him praform(sp) it? that was SO awesome! I love all of his songs that I've heard so far, but some of them are kind of sad... He's so talented!

but Gackt didn't sing it
the singer was Klaha, and that was after Gackt the band and after Kami passed away >_<

I guess his "style" sort of does vary by album...I was in chinatown in Montreal and ended up picked up his "Mars" album and "Mizerable, Gackt and Malice Mizer complete singles collection" I already had his "Moon" album...his "Moon" album has more of a rock style to it...lots of electric guitar...less of the YOU's wonderful violin playing *sighs*
I thought that when he was in Malice Mizer he was more of a romantic...I liked him a lot...I got into his Malice Mizer stuff first, but he didn't fit the whole "gothy" thing overly well...he really changed a lot when he went solo...not like it was a bad change.
Probably by far one of my all time favorite songs of his is "Seki-Ray" it's sad and angsty...perfect mix and the PV is really sad.
I guess my favorite Malice mizer ones are: "Illuminati, Bel-Air, and I think it's called "Dancing under moonlight"
but just personal opinion
Tsuki no uta and Hoshi no suna are also good

Gackt was the first japanese singer I listened to so I think he's very good looking and very talented at that.

I Iove Gackt. ::glomps him:: I have 1 cd. Malice Mizer and Gackt Singles Collection vol 2. ^^ I love all of the songs on that cd. Seki Ray and Lapis ~prologue (this ones 's great b/c it's so calming.) are really great. Oasis too. Gackt makes a really good drawing reference. If you've ever been to the site Sawasdee Gackt, it has great pics. How could anyone not like anyone so pretty(well unless of course u have an issue w/pretty boys....) and talented??

I love Gackt although I dont go uber fangirl with him (I do that only with Miyavi and Kyo

Wow, this is such and old thread being revived.
I met Gackt about the same time this girl started the thread, but I didn't know this forum. I first heard him in malice mizer and later came to find the Mars album. So far, the only album I haven't listened (complete at least)is Diabolos, the latest.
I wonder if this girl has heard something else besides Rebirth, cos the style has radicaly changed since then. After Moon we all know Crescent arrived, which is, by the way, my favourite album. And after it came Love letter, that's a really slow and romantic album.. love it!! and well, he goes from pop to rock and back to pop to take a jump into rock again. You can't choose a style for him, he is a creative master.
I prefer his slow songs, but I do like some others like Vanilla, U+K, Lu:Na, birdcage, metamorphoze.. many many... almost all of them. I only dislike a couple of songs, but it's minority, you cannot love every single song even if you try.

Secret Garden was my first Gackt song too!!! Its AWESOME now I have all of his albums, and I have his new single Redemption that hasn't even been released yet hehehehe. Well, I think that I like his Mars album the most, and then again, I love all of his stuff. Diabolos were freakin awesome too. Well, let's see in my opinion
