Fruit Basket!

hahah HAHA - yeah, all I can think about is Yuki.. heh. OK, so Akito has got issues too. But Akito is not that bad... Why do you hate him soo much?
 
I wouldn't say I hate him...I just have to read or watch more to decide what I think about him...
 
what so bad about him!?!?! it's thanks to him that many of the zodiac members have emotional and mental scars. almost all of them were abused by him mentally and physically, even the older ones, and he tries to kill toru because he saw how she was helping them to heal!
 
Yah, but without him there'd be no issues and no cool story and no Fruits Basket.
And besides; he's not entierly bad, I mean, he's got his scars and issues to.. I think he's suffering a lot too. He's evil and all, but that's his character - there's got to be someone evil in every story, or the story would be no good. Akito is cool. *But Yuki is hotter and cooler*
 
I agree...you're 100% right...he'll probably end up growing on me, Akito that is..cuz I already love Yuki ^^
 
well...too each his/her own. i still hate akito.
 
I don't hate him at all. He plays a good part in the story...
 
well, i guess it goes to show tha even if the bad guys can get some love, than everyone in the world can get love
 
The bad guys in the world are often loved, unfortunately. People look up to their strength and firmness.. Especially when it comes to movies and games - all the evil characters are always very popular, cause they're usually quite cool and... well.. evil. Something about the "bad guys" is attractive, or at least many think so.
Um. so. This is still about Fruits Basket, right? XD
Man, I have yet to finish the series. Can't wait.. *cries*
 
I've only watched the first 2 episodes of the series...I feel soo deprived...I have read all the mangas that are out soo far...I haven't been able to buy the box set cuz I've been broke since MegaCon...amazing what an anime convention can do to ones money...not to mention my parents are making me pay for half of my cell phone bill...soo cruel...
 
My friend has recently informed me that the manga of fruits basket is way better than the anime! *must read manga*

Ya, I read the first.. um was it, four episodes (or chapters?) of the manga, and it IS better than the anime. And it's prettier too! *wants to buy the manga*

Okay, I'll start this thread up again. or... maybe not... but, I only wanna say, I recently got the chance to watch episode 8 (I've never seen that episode before)
Maaaan, I was moved. That's one of the best episodes! Akito... and... Hatori! Wow, what an episode! Hatori has such a sad story, ne? *cries for Hatoris sake*
Did everyone see it? (as not to give anything away)...
 
i've seen all of them... may i ask who Akito is? (i watched it in chinese) is he the doctor?
 
finally!! I have enough money to buy the box set!!...unfortunatly I've decided to save it for an anime convention at the end of this month...JaCon...its one of three conventions I go to a year and I don't wanna miss it...I started going to it last year so I think it'll take me a while to get the box set with all the epis...darn!! *sigh*

nope, Hatori is the doctor. Akito is the guy who ruined Hatoris eye... *cries* Soooo good, Fruits Basket!... to bad it will take me a loooong time to finish the series. Anyone wanna give me some episodes? :?
 
i can give you episodes... but they are in chinese... but if you dont mind that i can sent them ^^;;;

Akito is very very hot. the thing i dont understand is why is he going to die?

i meant as in the anime is in japanese with chinese subtitles... sorry if i didnt make that clear enough... but i guess if you know japanese... do you? ^^;;; if you want i will still send them...
 
Oh, ok. Chinese subtitles... But as long as it's in japanese I want it! I guess I'll be able to understand about half of it... :? Haha, besides it will be good practice,,, gambatte!
Please send them to me... I'd accept any episodes after nr8 because that's as far as I've seen right now. I'd be happy if you could send me nr9 and nr10 or something!
