Took them a week or two for me. By mail if I recall corretly.

My interview was in Jan or Feb, left April 22.

BA for VISA requirements, good interview helps.

But not too sure. Honestly dude you're worrying a lot. Too much. If you had even a mildly good interview, you have a BA and you're a native speaker you're in.
Nova is piss easy to get into. I've met some absolute clowns here in NOVA that I was INCREDIBLY surprised passed an interview. I don't want to get your hopes up but I'd be surprised if you don't get this job. In fact I've heard the biggest danger to getting into NOVA is actually BEING a teacher or HAVING Japanese ability. Because of some f'ed up conditions in NOVA they'd prefer people not have qualities or skills etc that make it easier for them to find other employment in Japan.

I've been told numerous times that written grammar and spelling is not important as a NOVA teacher.

I in fact got in trouble for trying a spend part of my lesson teaching the difference between your and you're.

Pooka is right. It doesn't matter. I was constantly amazed and dismayed at the poor English displayed by the "teachers" I met at Nova.

I'll never forget one who, as he walked out of the teachers' room to teach a class on pronouns, asked me what pronouns are.

I had too ask my room-mates what a verb and adjective was.

That stuff isn't taught in QLD schools after 5th grade anymore.
