As far as standup comedians go, I suppose my favorites would have to be:

Robin Williams
Steven Wright
Jerry Seinfeld
Bill Cosby
George Carlin
Eddie Murphy
Eddie Izzard
Dave Chappelle

I know I'm probably leaving somebody out, there are so many I like. The only three I've seen in person are Bill Cosby (Reno show, 1984), Dave Chappelle (L.A. show, 1987--stuck a funny hat on my head), and Eddie Murphy (Sacramento 1989-1995, riding his 10-speed through the neighborhood and saying "Hi"--used to live in the same neighborhood but, unfortunately, never got to see any of his shows).

And, of course, I cannot leave out the entire Monty Python crew!!! I adore British humor. It's the best!!
