One of the more common questions is "Where can I find a good site on ___?" where ____ might be kanji, grammar, keigo, vocabulary, pronunciation, dictionary, romaji, ... etc.
Now it isn't a really exaggerating to say that if you put together all the good online sites you could find out anything at all about the Japanese language. However unless (and sometimes even if) you are very experienced with Google it can be difficult to find a good and applicable site for any particular topic.
The Japan Directory > Language > Online Resources is a start but it could be more tightly linked to the Learning Japanese forum. It would also be good if a classification system could be developed for language resource sites and if that system could be used to filter / sort / search that directory section.
Exactly what classification system would be appropriate and whether / how a filter/sort/search system could be implemented would need to be worked out in more detail.
