I'm gonna buy an exsternal hardrive next week for my laptop and was wondering if you load games onto it

Like i can't play my Sims becouse my laptops hardrive is to small

So can i load them onto the esternal hardrive instead?

there should be no problem, just install the game into a directory on the external drive.

he means when you choose where to install make sure its on the external drive (probably E:\) not the internal drive (C:\)

but some programs wont allow you to do that, it may be better to move files, movies and music to the external drive to free up space on the main one. also the game may run slower on an external since the transfer rates are slower than for internal drives.
