You do not have enough posts yet to add URLs to third-party websites.

Use brains perhaps? If you can't find a way to cite, other than by pasting a web address, maybe you shouldn't copy & paste articles at all. Websites usually have authors, contributors, most decent articles are published in periodicals and so on.

you have only 9 posts so you may not post links, you can post links without the www for example:
www.jref.com
post it like this :
jref.com

"i will pray "My God protect my faith from someone in JREF wants to corrupt me"

Remember, some people are angry at God for not existing.

why do you think the Koran is the true revelation of God ?
strange question !! I am Muslim,of course i will belive in my Holy book as the true revelation of God and beside the closest theory about what God is.
^^

sure, but WHY do you believe the Koran tells you the truth. Why not the bible, for example ?

i have the Arabic Bible in my computer, for one example :
Jesus is human as you know,so Human can never be God...
But remember,we belive that Bible was ture revelation of God but now it's different.
We belive in Jesus as prophet like Moses & Mohammed ( peace upon them )
this is one example.^^
Notice that i dont mean to offend anyone but this is my point of view ^^

Hezam, does the Koran contain any version of the Gospels, the portion of the Christian New Testament that deals with the life, teachings, and death of Jesus?

Why don't you accept the teachings from any of the following:
The Book of Mormon
Dianetics
Upanishads
Bhagavad Gita
Tattvarthasutra
Tibetan Tripitaka
Nahjul Balagha
Avesta
Nihon Shoki
for a starter?
For a longer list see here

Yes,the Quran contains Jesus's life,Moses's life,Ibraheem's life (Abraham),and many prophets stories and other stories, teachings, and also it explain what happened to Prophet Jesus when the jewish tried to kill him.
We belive in bible as a book from God ( Allah ) and also the Tawrat ( judism book ) but both of them have been changed.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. ^^

One religious person questioning another about why they would believe in their book... oh the irony.

I'm glad that this thread is saved from the total black hole of logic that was started here. Thanks to people like Raven Mycer, and Derfel(who is not comparable to Satan somehow?? lol), the world hasn't imploded from shear stupidity.

me too but dont you think it's because the one who posted it is from
Brazil.gif
and not Muslim ?
or maybe we had enough of this type of topics ?
or maybe we are closer to each other more than before ?

^________^

lol I know, it was just a really random comparison that got my attention.

And it doesn't really matter what religion, both Muslim and Christian have the same logic for deciding which version of the same sky daddy is "correct." Well, the same lack of logic, evidence... etc... yeah these topics are a bit pointless now.

we believe Jesus Christ was truly human, and truly God, during his stay on earth. Why do you think he could not be God ?

because the bible convinced me, that it is the revelation of God. There is plenty of reasons to come to that conclusion. And because of personal experience with the God of the bible.

a pretty funny metaphor for religion I remember seeing a while ago:
Think of it like a movie series. The Torah is the first one; the New Testament is the sequel. Then, the Qu'ran comes out, and it retcons the last one like it never happened. There's still Jesus, but he's not the main character any more, and the messiah hasn't shown up yet.

Jews like the first movie, but ignore the sequels. Christians think you need to watch the first two, but the third movie doesn't count. Muslims think the third one was the best.

Mormons like the second one so much, they started writing fan fiction that doesn't fit with any of the series canon.

I'm pretty sure Hezam will tell you the same thing about his faith. Why should we believe you anymore than him?

That was GREAT XD

HalfnHalf, good luck convincing anyone religious of that type of logical reasoning... Never seen it work.

And that's what it comes down to at the end of the day. But just because it convinced you doesn't mean it convinces everyone. It's kind of pointless to debate the point when there is no PROOF as to what's real and what's just imagination. If YOU believe then that's all you need, right? Why try to pull down other people's beliefs? Just let it alone. 😌
